F. A. ISENHART Taken In Death

BATAVIA, Ia. -- Francis A. ISENHART, 83, resident of the Batavia community for the past seven months, passed away last night at the Jefferson county hospital in Fairfield. His death came at 9:30 p.m.

He had been in failing health for the past three years and had spent all his life near Victor, Iowa, until moving to Batavia seven months ago to make his home with his brother, Harry ISENHART, who resides east of Batavia.

Last rites have been tentatively set for Thursday at 2 p.m. a (sic - at) the Campbell funeral chapel in Batavia with the Rev. Howard Higgins officiating. Burial will be in the Batavia cemetery.

Francis A. ISENHART was born July 7, 1876, in Victor, Iowa, the son of Francis M. and Margaret HAWES ISENHART. He spent most all of his life in the Victor community, engaged in farming. He was a member of the Methodist church.

His brother, Harry ISENHART, is the only survivor. He was preceded in death by one sister.
