DEATH TAKES LOCAL WOMAN

Margaret Frances BONFIELD, 85, who resides at 308 E. Burlington street, passed away at 11 p.m. last night at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been ill for the past six weeks.

High mass of requiem will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. Father H. M. Thoman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the Monger funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Margaret Frances BONFIELD was born February 2, 1863, in Fairfield, the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret BONFIELD. She was educated and spent her entire life in this community.

She is survived by three sisters, Kathryn, Elizabeth and Nellie, all of Fairfield; and two nephews, George, Fairfield; and Francis, Norfolk, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George, who passed away in 1937, and two sisters and three brothers who died in infancy.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL IN DISTRICT COURT
State of Iowa,
Jefferson County, ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Margaret BONFIELD, Deceased dated May 26, 1941 and having been this day filed, open and read, Monday the 26th day of July, 1948, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court, and at 9:30 o'clock a.m., of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause, if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last will and Testament of said deceased.

Dated at Fairfield, Iowa, June 29, 1948.
