Lucille Jenny Zillman, 90, of 2126 Watercrest Blvd., Lockridge, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed Newman officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery.

Open visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Zillman family or Lockridge First Responders.

Mrs. Zillman was born Aug. 21, 1913, in Burlington, the daughter of Jess and Leona Shafer Payne. She married Kenneth Zillman March 15, 1936, in Fairfield.

Mrs. Zillman lived most of her life in the Lockridge community. She was educated in Mount Pleasant and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School with the class of 1933. She worked at Stass Ribbons in Mount Pleasant before she was married. She was a farm homemaker.

Mrs. Zillman was affiliated with the Lockridge Baptist Church and her hobbies were watching the St. Louis Cardinals, fishing, hanging wallpaper, playing cards and canning.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth Zillman of Lockridge; two grandchildren, Mandy Jo Davis of Burlington and Mark Blain of Oakgrove, Ky.; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Zillman was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Allen Todd Zillman; two brothers, Raymond and Clifford Payne; and one sister, Helen Roth.
