DEATH TAKES BROOKVILLE MAN THURSDAY

Funeral services for Harry BRADFIELD will be in Abingdon Sunday

Harry BRADFIELD, 67, life time resident of Jefferson county, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital Thursday evening at 6:20 p.m. He had been in poor health for the past six weeks and seriously ill for the past seven days.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian church in Abingdon in charge of Rev. H. C. Whiting. Burial will be in the Abingdon cemetery.

Mr. BRADFIELD was born April 11, 1875 near Brookville, Iowa, and he had resided in that community during his entire life engaged in farming. He married Nora HUFFMAN December 27, 1894. He joined the Brookville Methodist church in 1908 and had been a member since.

He is survived by his wife and two children, Bruce BRADFIELD of Birmingham and Mrs. Bernice BAIRD of Fairfield. One brother, Frank BRADFIELD of Tacoma Park, Maryland and eight grandchildren also survive.
