Velma May LOGA

Velma May LOGA, 80, 205 E. Buchanan Ave., died Wednesday evening. Nov. 25, 1992, at her home.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Zickefoose officiating. The body will be cremated and inurnment will be at a later date in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Open visitation begins at 6 tonight. A memorial has been established.

Mrs. LOGA was born Sept. 30, 1912, in Fairfield, the daighter of William Samuel and Nellie Jane SIMONS COX. She married Fred F. LOGA on Aug. 7, 1947. He died June 11, 1968. She had been a cook for Fairfield High School, Turner Hotel and Kurka Cafe, and had lived most of her life in Fairfield.

Surviving are a son, Duane ORMS of Brighton; a stepson, Don LOGA of Fond Du Lac (sic - Fond du Lac), Wis.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale COX of Birmingham; a half-brother, John COOK of Westminster, Calif.; two half-sisters, Willabea KITCHEN of Fairfield and Geraldine CRIST of Florissant, Mo. Two husbands, two sisters, Phyllis COX, Frances DROZ, and two half-brothers, Don and Jasper COOK, preceded her in death.
