Jacquelynn Ronita 'Jackie' CRESTA

Jacquelynn Ronita (Jackie) CRESTA, 70, of Pacifica, California, formerly of Batavia, died August 11, 2011 in California.

Jackie was born April 17, 1941 in Ames, Iowa to Robert Paul MILLER and Dorothy SHIERY MILLER. She attended school at Fairfield and graduated from Cardinal High School in 1959. She attended Skyline College and received an A.A. degree in 1976. She attended San Francisco State University and received a B.A., Business Education degree in 1979. Jackie earned a Life Credential for Business and Related Technologies from the State of California in 1984.

Jackie taught at Skyline College since 1979. She also worked at the Highlands Christian Schools in San Bruno, in Accounts Receivable since 1991. Jackie has spent many years of her life in the service of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jackie married Jim CRESTA in San Francisco, California in May 1966, and will be dearly missed by her son: James Robert CRESTA, daughter-in-law, Karen; grandchildren: James, Rachel, and Camille; her father: Robert Paul MILLER; brothers: Joe MILLER and David MILLER (Pam) of Batavia, Iowa; Drew LANGLEY of Berkeley, California; and sisters, Christine SNELLING (Tom) of Des Moines, Iowa; Carolyn STARK of Altoona, Iowa; and Judy GOMEZ (Art) of Spring, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy FRINK of Oklahoma City, and stepmother, Katherine MILLER and sister, Camille MILLER, both of Batavia, Iowa.

A service was held at Duggan's Serra Mortuary in Daly City, Ca.

Funeral services wll be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 24th at the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Batavia, with Pastor Deborah Muntz officiating. Burial will be in the Batavia cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

A memorial has been established to "Jackie's Music."
