Peggy Sue WOODSMALL

Peggy Sue WOODSMALL, 45, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dianne Brokken officiating. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at St. Edwards Cemetery in Afton.

Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A second visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday at Powers Funeral Home in Afton.

Memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials may be sent to 411 E. Fillmore, Afton 50830.

Mrs. WOODSMALL was born Nov. 15, 1965, in Creston, the daughter of Dan and Rayma STEWART RIPPERGER. She married Kevin WOODSMALL July 30, 1988. They later divorced.

Mrs. WOODSMALL was a medical technologist at Jefferson County Health Center for the last six years. She had worked at the Burlington and Creston hospitals.

Her hobbies and interests include scrap booking, crocheting, crafts, flowers, gardening, attending concerts, Old Threshers and flea markets.

Survivors include her parents of Afton; two children: Shane WOODSMALL and Sarah WOODSMALL, both of Fairfield; three siblings: Julia TILSON of Leavenworth, Kan., Tami ARNOLD of Humeston and Alex RIPPERGER of Afton; and her fiance: Doug FOLSOM of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
