Danny J. Bradley, 57, formerly of Orion, currently of Davenport died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, Ill., after a short battle with cancer.

A memorial Mass was held at 10 a.m. today at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Rock Island. Interment was in Chippiannock Cemetery in Rock Island.

Mr. Bradley was born Aug. 13, 1946, in Fairfield, the son of Jimmie and Shirley Barber Bradley. He married Marcia Gravitt Aug. 26, 1967, at Memorial Christian Church. She died May 24, 2001.

Mr. Bradley was raised in Libertyville. He was employed for 18 years at East Moline Glass working as an estimator. He built several homes as a home building contractor in prior years.

Mr. Bradley attended St. Pius X Catholic Church in Rock Island. He belonged to the Glazierâs Union Local No. 581 in Rock Island.

Survivors include his fiance, Ruth Smit; his mother, Shirley Bradley; one daughter, Michele Dorbeck and husband Mike; one son, Daniel Bradley and wife Gina; five grandchildren; one sister, Robbin Ehret; and one brother, David Bradley.

Besides his wife, was preceded in death by his father.
