Archie LONEY Rites Saturday

Last rites for Archie V. LONEY, 74, Davenport, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.

LONEY died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in Knoxville after a long illness. Services will be in charge of hte Rev. Ned Gillum. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 29, 1895 in Davis County, the son of John and Mary LONEY. He was veteran of World War I. He was married May 7, 1945 to Betty CARMICHAEL, formerly of Fairfield.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Darrell, Cedar Rapids, and Deo, Donnellson; and three daughters, Mrs. Dwight WHISLER, Albia, and Icle and Reba, at home.

Also surviving are one brother, Reuben LONEY, Albia; two sisters, Mrs. Emrey MILTON, Bloomfield; and Mrs. Esther SWANK, Fond du Lac, Wis.; and a half-sister, Mrs. Clarence STOBER, Hoxie, Kan.
