Marva Eileen Guthrie Rogers, 103, born Sept. 14, 1899, in Mesa, Ariz., the daughter of Loren Vaughn Guthrie and Winnie Fredrica Johnson, was called home by our Heavenly Father Friday, Aug. 22, 2003.

Her husband William Isaac "Ike" Rogers and her first son Kenneth Rogers preceded her in death. Survivors include Bruce and Nancy Rogers of Mesa, Joyce Lisac of Scottsdale, Ariz., James and Cheryl Rogers of Fairfield, 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Dear Mother, we will miss your sweet voice, soft touch, insightful widom and remarkable sense of humor. Your journey back to Heaven has been a long one and we know you are at Our Heavenly Fathers side. Until we meet again, dear Mother, we will think of you often and cherish the time we had with you.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bunker Family Funeral 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, Ariz.

Memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 9th Ward building 997 E. Broadway Road, Mesa.

Internment at Mesa City Cemetery will immediately follow services.
