Mrs. DABNER, 91, Taken In Death

Mrs. Ida DABNER, 91, a resident of Fairfield for 63 years. died Monday afternoon at the Fairfield Convalescent Home after a serious illness of one month. She had been in failing health for three years.

Mrs. DABNER made her home at 501 E. Hempstead. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. H. Henry Walker and the Rev. Carl McKay. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. DABNER was born March 31, 1878 (sic. her headstone DOB year is 1877) in Palmyra, Mo., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin HICKMAN. She was married to William DABNER Oct. 17, 1896. He died Aug. 30, 1956.

Mrs. DABNER was a long-time member of the Bethel AME Church. She is survived by the following children: Raymond DABNER, Fairfield; Wardell DABNER, Los Angeles, Calif.; Lucille DABNER, Galesburg, Ill.; Mrs. Stella ROBINSON, Fairfield; Mrs. Thelma BAGBY, Cincinnati, Ohio; William DABNER Jr., Fairfield; Roy DABNER, Clinton; Mrs. Georgia JACKSON, Kansas City, Mo.; and Walter DABNER, Fairfield.

Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, a number of great and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Susie BRADSHAW, LaGrange, Mo.; and two brothers, Allie HICKMAN, LaGrange, Mo., and Harrison HICKMAN, Louisville, Ky.

One son, two daughters, one brother and one sister are deceased.
