Jane Arlene HULSEBUS

Jane Arlene HULSEBUS, 83, of Donnellson, died at 2:46 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Fort Madison Community Hospital.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, with the Rev. Robert Koepcke officiating. A private family graveside service will be at Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson. The body has been cremated.

No visitation is planned.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Donnellson American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. HULSEBUS was born May 1, 1928, in Macomb, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Helen PAYNE ROTH. She married Wesley HULSEBUS Oct. 17, 1948, in Lockridge.

Mrs. HULSEBUS worked at Citizens State Bank, Central Lee School, Meyer Grocery and Donnellson Manor Care Center until her retirement.

Mrs. HULSEBUS was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Donnellson. She was a 59-year gold star member of Donnellson American Legion Auxiliary.

She enjoyed kites, ceramics and children. She also enjoyed playing cards.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lori WELCH and husband Butch of Donnellson and Lee STUEKERJUERGEN and husband Karl of West Point; one son: Marshall HULSEBUS and wife Marilyn of Donnellson; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Richard ROTH; one daughter: Gail SINO; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
