MRS. SUMMERS DIED YESTERDAY

Funeral Services Tomorrow Morning at 10 From Pleasant Grove Church

Mrs. Joseph SUMMERS passed away last evening at 5:20 oclock at her home, 11 miles northwest of the city. She has been in failing health for some time and bedfast for only two weeks. Death was caused by jaundice.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 oclock from Pleasant Grove church in charge of Rev. Harvey E. Butler. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. SUMMERS was Caroline KNIGHT before her marriage and was born in Philadelphia, Pa., being 77 years old at the time of her death. She came to this county when one year old and settled with her folks here. After her marriage, Mr. and Mrs. SUMMERS located to a farm northwest of the city where they have always lived.

Besides the husband she is survived by the following children, Mrs. R.B. PICKEN, Mrs. Edgar MCINTIRE, Mrs. Ernest HADLEY, Mrs. Ralph PARRISH and William J., who all live within five miles of the old home place and two sons at home, George (sic. George Herbert SUMMERS) and Herbert (sic. Joseph Herbert SUMMERS).

Her DOD was previously listed in another Evergreen cemetery transcription as being July 31, 1927. The published obituary appears to indicate that the DOD was August 4, 1927, however.
