DEATH CLAIMS MRS. C. E. SALTS

Mrs. C. E. SALTS, a native of Jefferson county, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital last night where she had been a patient since Monday. She had been in poor health for a number of years and seriously ill since January.

Last rites will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the Abingdon Christian church with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in the Abingdon cemetery. The body is at the Hoskins funeral home.

Daisy SALTS, 74, was born March 25, 1876, in Jefferson county, Iowa, the daughter of the late Stephen Alfred and Sarah LONGERBONE MYERS.

She was united in marriage on December 22, 1908, to C. E. SALTS, who survives. The wedding took place in the home of the bride's parents near Abingdon. Mrs. SALTS lived her entire life in Jefferson county, for many years living on a farm six miles northwest of Fairfield.

Mrs. SALTS was a member of the Abingdon Christian church, and was well known in the community.

She is survived by her husband and three brothers, Lawrence MYERS, Linby; Otis MYERS, Wall Lake, Michigan; and Walter MYERS, Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, C. O. MYERS of Packwood.
