Weston S. HARPER, 82, of 2237 Highway 34 East, died at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, at Parkview Care Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim McGaffey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Open visitation began at noon today at Behner Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Parkview Care Centers activity fund.
Mr. HARPER was born Oct. 21, 1920, in Fairfield, the son of Ralph E. and Mabel SMITH HARPER.
Mr. HARPER was a handyman, painted houses and worked for Whitney Monument Works. He attended many auctions and rode his bike everywhere. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Survivors include one sister, Katheryne SMITH of Burlington.
Mr. HARPER was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Cloyce HARPER; and one sister, Eileen GRAY.
