VAN NESS RITES WILL BE FRIDAY.

Death came last night to Mrs. Leona VAN NESS, life-time resident of Jefferson County...... Burial will be in the Abingdon cemetery.... Leona VAN NESS was born Nov. 14, 1890 in Jefferson County, the daughter of George and Julia VANNOY DAVIS. She was married to Ray (sic - William Ray) VAN NESS Aug. 12, 1910. Survived by three sons: Clarence and Harold VAN NESS, Fairfield, Waldo VAN NESS, Ottumwa; 9 grandchildren; one brother, Ross DAVIS, Hedrick, and a sister, Aley MILLER, Cincinnati, Iowa. Preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a sister.
