ABINGDON--David SICELOFF was born in Fayette County, Indiana, Nov. 15, 1820 (sic - born 16th on stone); died Feb. 7, 1907 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. BOWMAN of Ollie, aged 86 years 2 months and 21 days. Married Katherine HUFSTEDLER in 1842 and moved to Wapello County in 1856 where he resided a few miles west of our village until 1899. Mr. SICELOFF was the father of four children, three of whom are living: Harriet C. LINDER of Batavia, Mrs. BOWMAN of Ollie and John SICELOFF of Belle Plain, Kan. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church Saturday and remains interred in the Abingdon Cemetery.

Note: Catherine (as on her gravestone) died in 1886 and is buried in Abingdon Cemetery as well.
