DEATH OF MICHAEL A. MOYER, who made his home in this city for nine years previous to 1897, died from consumption at his home in Sheldon, Iowa, on Wednesday morning, July 19th at 5 o'clock. The remains were brought to this city last Friday, and Rev. K. O. Kemble of the Methodist church conducted the funeral services at 9 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of Mr. MOYER's mother-in-law, Mrs. A. J. HINKLE on East Washington Street. Interment at Abingdon where the services were in charge of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. MOYER was born in Clermont County, Ohio, on June 26, 1859. In 1887 he came to this county and on Dec. 14 was married to Miss Allie IRETON, daughter of Mrs. A. J. HINKLE of this city, returning to Ohio immediately after their marriage. A year later they moved to this county and made their home on a farm a few miles northwest of Fairfield. After nine years' residence here he moved to Illinois and from thence to Sheldon, Iowa.... He leaves a wife and one child, Gaelord, of seven years, and they will, for the present at least make their home in this city.
