DIED FROM PARALYSIS.

Mrs. Laura FLINT (sic - FLINDT, throughout) died in this city shortly after midnight Monday from a stroke of paralysis... Mrs. FLINT's maiden name was SCHNEIDER, and she was a native of Somerset County, Penn., where she was born Feb. 6, 1832. She grew to womanhood there and was married to John D. FLINT in 1851. The family came to this county in 1855 and located at Abingdon, which place was its home until the death of the husband and father five years ago (sic - December, 1893). During her residence in Fairfield Mrs. FLINT has made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Lee T. GOBBLE. There are two other children in the family, John W. FLINT of Polk township and Mrs. C. H. GOBBLE. Both Mrs. FLINT and her husband were members of the M.E. church from an early age and were always active and energetic in its works. Mrs. FLINT was a woman of wide acquaintance in her old home and was held in the highest esteem because of her splendid christian character. A brief funeral service was held at the home of Mr. GOBBLE on West Burlington street this morning, and the remains were taken to Abingdon for interment this afternoon.
