ENGSTRAND dies at 48

Robert W. ENGSTRAND, 48, former Fairfield resident, died Sunday evening at his home in Latrobe, Pa.

Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lenwood Monte officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Raymond Funeral Home.

ENGSTRAND was born Aug. 15, 1929 in Fairfield, the son of Harry and Alfreda BLOMGREN ENGSTRAND. He was reared and educated in Fairfield, graduating from the local high school. He was married to LaVone GILL Oct. 28, 1951.

ENGSTRAND was employed as a printer at the Tribune Co. for 20 years prior to moving to Latrobe in March, 1969. He was a member of the 34th Army Band, Iowa National Guard, for 21 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Jeri, and one son, Bradley, both of Latrobe; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Omar HOSKINS, Fairfield; and several aunts and uncles, including Hattie BATES, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his father.

ENGSTRAND was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Latrobe.
