Mrs. IRELAND’s Rites Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred IRELAND, 78, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery.

Mrs. IRELAND, lifetime resident of this community, died suddenly Thursday morning at her home at 400 W. Washington.

Lora I. IRELAND was born July 31, 1894 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Dan and Belle DAVIS SCHOOLEY. She was married to Fred L. IRELAND on June 19, 1912.

She is survived by her husband, one son and two daughters, Arnold (Bub) IRELAND of Fairfield, Mrs. Bernice L. TURNER of Ottumwa and Mrs. Grace HESTON of Iowa Falls, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Gerald RILEY of Fairfield and Mrs. Jess GARDNER of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by one son and two sisters.
