Charles CLINE Taken In Death

Charles M. CLINE, 74, 706 S. Third, died Friday evening at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health the past two months and seriously ill the past two weeks.

Funeral services will be held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home on Monday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Ned Gillum officiating. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery.

CLINE was born March 15, 1896, at Abingdon, the son of Louis and Matilda PETERS CLINE. On March 7, 1923 he was married to Eunice R. BURNETT.

He spent most of his life in the Abingdon Community where he was engaged in farming. He had lived in Fairfield the past 19 years. He was a member of the Abingdon Church of Christ.

Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Myrintha JEFFREY of Anamosa, one grandson and two sisters, Mrs. Nora DAVIS of Batavia and Mrs. Mable FORREST of Hedrick.
