Girl Dies Suddenly

Darcy A. BLAKLEY, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul BLAKLEY, 205 S. Maple, died suddenly Wednesday at 6 p.m. at University of Iowa Hospitals.

Death was caused by a rare blood disease. She had been ill only two days.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. Services will follow Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Karl Holtkamp officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Miss BLAKLEY was a 10th grade student at Fairfield High School and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was born Oct. 18, 1958 in Fairfield, the daughter of Paul and Beverly STREED BLAKLEY.

Surviving are her parents; one brother, Michael C., 12; and one sister, Darla K., 7. Surviving grandparents are Mrs. Ruth BLAKLEY, Des Moines; and Mrs. Thelma STREED, Fairfield.
