DEATH OF W. H. KELLEY

W. H. KELLEY, an aged and well known citizen living a mile south of Four Corners, died Tuesday, December 31 (sic - 1895), from old age. Mr. KELLEY was a native of Pennsylvania, and was born in Frederic, Fayette County, December 16, 1818. He was married to Miss Catherine PIERCE, December 6, 1846, and they came to Iowa shortly afterwards. They located on a farm south of Four Corners, where they have lived ever since. Eight children were born to them, five of whom are still living. They are Mrs. Mary PHELPS, Mrs. Rebecca HODSON, Mrs. Eva TURNER, John W., and William KELLEY. The funeral was held last Thursday and was conducted by Rev. S. T. Horton. The remains were interred in the Hopkirk Cemetery. Deceased was 77 years old.
