Carolyn Jo IRLA-WANDLING, 61, of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at home.
No visitation or memorial service is planned. The body has been cremated.

Mrs. IRLA-WANDLING was born Dec. 9, 1949, in Iowa City, the daughter of Joe and Evelyn IRLA. She married Steve WANDLING Tuesday.
Mrs. IRLA-WANDLING was raised in Fairfield, before moving to California in 1970. For 22 years she worked as a drafter for Amdahl and Ampex computer companies. The WANDLINGs lived on a 20-acre ranch in Mount Pleasant, where Mrs. IRLA-WANDLING fished, did crafts, loved her animals and farmed.
She was a member of the Arbor Day Foundation.
She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Evelyn WHITING; three children, Darrell, Tonya and John John; one sister, Christine WILKERSON; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Charlene IRLA.
