Arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mary Louise ANDERS

Mary Louise ANDERS, 88, of Fairfield, died Sunday evening, May 8, 2011, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Suzanne Swahn and the Rev. Frosty Van Voorst officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church or The Lord's Cupboard.

Mrs. ANDERS was born Sept. 28, 1922, on a farm near Packwood, the daughter of Hugh Henry and Irma WILSON MILLER. She married Don H. ANDERS Feb. 21, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. He died April 18, 1985.

Mrs. ANDERS moved at age 6 to her grandfather's farm in Longview, near Stockport. She attended East Union School near Stockport and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1940. She lived most of her married life in Fairfield. She had worked at Place's and Harrison's department stores.

Mrs. ANDERS was a member of First Christian Church in Fairfield, where she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 25 years. She was a member of the Jefferson County Health Center Auxiliary. She volunteered at The Lord's Cupboard, Bargain Box and hospital gift shop.

Survivors include three children: Rick ANDERS and wife Betty of Muscatine, Lloyd ANDERS and wife Susan of Mesa, Ariz., and Cathy BAILEY of Douds; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one brother: Keith MILLER of Richmond, Va.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Kenneth MILLER.
