DEATH OF MRS. GALLIHER.

Eliza Armstrong ANDERSON, widow of I. S. GALLIHER, die din this city the 8th inst., after an illness from pneumonia of only a week. She was a daughter of George ANDERSON, a pioneer resident and minister of Jefferson County, and was born in Indiana November 11th, 1823. She came to this county in 1848, and was married here to Mr. GALLIHER, who died in 1875. She was the mother of eight children, only one of whom is now living, U.S.A.G. GALLIHER of this city, at whose home she died. During the years of her active life, Mrs. GALLIHER resided in Cedar township, and she was held in high esteem by her old friends and neighbors there, for she was an excellent woman in every relation of life. The ramins were interred in Union Cemetery near Glendale Thursday, the services being conducted by Rev. I.O. Kemble of this city and Rev. G. B. Phillips.
