Charles K. "Jude" WILLIAMS, 86, of 807 W. Taylor Ave., died at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Family visitation will be held from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Fairfield Public Library's children section.
Mr. WILLIAMS was born May 15, 1914, in Moline, Ill., the son of George Will and Maggie May DARNELL WILLIAMS.
He lived most of his life in Jefferson County working for Fairfield Iron and Metal, Anderson Steel, O'Neill Coal Company, The Dexter Copany (sic. Company) and Loudens. He gardened, fished, hunted and trapped.
Survivors include two daughters, Twilla LUKE and Carylon SANDERSON, both of Fairfield; two sons, Kenneth WILLIAMS and Charles WILLIAMS, both of Fairfield; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Edwin WILLIAMS of Mark; and one sister, Aletha WILSON of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Alton, Paul and Jimmy WILLIAMS; and five sisters, Fay, Alice, Opal, May and Maxine.
