Rites for Mrs. DANA

Mrs. Sylvia T. DANA, 84, 408 N. Main St., died at 12:30 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since last Saturday.

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Mrs. DANA was born Jan. 27, 1891 in Jefferson County, the daughter of George and Cora BROWN BRAY. She was married to Clarence C. DANA Sept. 24, 1912 near Veo. They moved from their farm near Pleasant Plain to Fairfield in 1965.

Mrs. DANA was preceded in death by her husband Feb. 12, 1971. One daughter, one brother and one sister are also deceased. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Busy Bee Club.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Edith Mae MILLARD, Ottumwa; two grandsons, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Vera INGHAM, Selma, Calif.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF IOWA IN AND FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF SYLVIA T. DANA, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF SYLVIA T. DANA, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 26TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1975, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF SYLVIA T. DANA DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 2ND DAY OF MAY, 1967, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT EDITH MILLARD WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
