Ida A. HUMPHREYS rites today

Services for Ida A. HUMPHREYS, 98, who died Wednesday afternoon at Parkview Care Center, were held at 2 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. A memorial has been established to First Lutheran Church.

Mrs. HUMPHREYS was born Feb. 17, 1887 in Washburn, Ill., the daughter of August and Elizabeth HAUSHAHN ADAMI. On Feb. 26, 1921 in Ottumwa, she married Don HUMPHREYS, who died Sept. 11, 1965. A longtime Jefferson County resident, she was a homemaker and had lived southeast of Fairfield until moving to town in 1962. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Two sisters, Anna C. WERNER and Grace McKEEL, preceded her in death.
