Pg. 3 Col. 3

(Note: Name of deceased was Lovina HOUGH)

News was received last week, from New York, giving an account of the death of grandmother HOUGH, who died in Hamilton county, that state, recently (sic. March 26, 1882). The deceased was an aged lady of nearly eighty-two, and was the mother of Mrs. S.J. CHANDLER (sic. Sarah Jane HOUGH CHANDER; Mrs. Ward CHANDLER), of this county, with whom she had made her home for many years, but becoming dissatisfied in her old age, she returned to her son's in the East last fall, where she enjoyed exceeding good health until a week before her death, when, receiving news of the death of her daughter (sic. not named, but not Sarah), in Minnesota, she became worse and gradually pined away until death came and she was released.
