Mrs. Sarah C. RIDINGER, wife of Jacob SCHAFER of Walnut Township, died in Ottumwa Iowa hospital on Wednesday. Born in Jefferson County Mar. 4, 1859, grew to womanhood here and was married to Julius R. LIPPMANN of Mt. Pleasant Oct 31, 1882. They lived at that place until the husband died 25 Jan 1884. One son, J. R. LIPPMANN of this city was born of this marriage. April 30th (sic - 1890) Mrs. LIPPMANN married Jacob SCHAFER. They were the parents of one son, J. Glenn SCHAFER. Other surviving relatives are Mrs W. R. SMITH of Rome IA, a sister; J.C. and W.T. RIDINGER of Kelvin AZ brother; and 2 stepchildren Harry SCHAFER of Avalon KS and Mrs. G. N. FELGER of Trenton IA. Burial: Green Mound Cem.

Note: Green Mound Cemetery is in Trenton Township, Henry County, IA. Julius R. LIPPMAN is buried in Henry County, and Jacob SCHAFER is buried in Germanville Union Free Cemetery, Jefferson County. It would appear she is buried with her first husband.
