Henry B. WILLIAMSON, 66, Lehigh Acres, Fla., died Saturday, Sept. 24, 1988, on board ship during a cruise on the Regent Star in the Pacific Ocean.
WILLIAMSON was the son of the Rev. S.P. and Helen WILLIAMSON. He graduated from Parson College and served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.
His wife Mollie died in 1972. His parents also preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife Lila; a brother, S.R. "Bob" Williamson of Fairfield and a sister, Amy MEDINA of Hollywood, Fla.
Arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Henry B. WILLIAMSON, 66, former Fairfield resident, who died Sept. 24, 1988, while on a cruise aboard the Regent Star in the Pacific Ocean, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Interment of ashes will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials to First Christian Church may be left at Raymond Funeral Home.
Williamson was born Aug. 25, 1922, at Mount Ayr, the son of the Rev. Samuel P. and Helen BRAMMER WILLIAMSON. The family moved to Fairfield in 1929. WILLIAMSON entered military service in 1941. He graduated from Parsons Colege following the war and returned to active duty in the U. S. Air Force, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1967. He married Mollie REIMER (sic. REIMERS), who died in 1971 (sic. 1972). He married Lila WINTERS. The had lived in Lehigh Acres, Fla., since 1977 and he had worked for the Lehigh Corporation for 10 years.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter Margaret Ann BLOEMER of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren; a sister, Amy MEDINA of Hollywood, Fla.; and a brother, S.R. "Bob" WILLIAMSON of Fairfield.

Note: Buried at Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. 4th.119. The name of his first wife has been found as either Mary, Marian, or Marion (nickname "Mollie"). The name on their joint headstone is "Marion".
