Rites for Mrs. THOMA

Services for Jennie L. THOMA, 79, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Jennie L. THOMA, 505 N. Main, died Tuesday at the University Hospital in Iowa City. She had been seriously ill for the past five weeks.

She was born Sept. 27, 1902, the daughter of William E. and Nettie Ann HUFFMAN JACQUES. She was married Nov. 14, 1943, to Harold B. THOMA in Omaha, Nebr. He died Dec. 20, 1959. Mrs. THOMA lived her entire life in the Fairfield Community.

Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
