Glen A. HUFFMAN dies at 48

Glen A. HUFFMAN, 48, 705 Alter Drive, Mt. Pleasant, died suddenly at 11:56 a.m. Thursday at Jefferson County Hospital. He had become ill after shoveling snow at his father's home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. William Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the Heart Fund.

HUFFMAN was born Feb. 6, 1936, in Fairfield, the son of Hollis H. and Jessie I. HARRISON HUFFMAN. He married Joyce A. ANGSTEAD on June 21, 1957 in the Methodist church in Fairfield. He had lived for 10 years in Mt. Pleasant after having lived most of his life in the Fairfield community. He worked as a construction technician No. 3 in the Iowa Department of Transportation for 30 years.

Surviving are his wife; his father of Fairfield; two daughters, Kim Renee OTTE of Ames, Shelley Teresa HUFFMAN of Iowa City; one brother, Robert M. HUFFMAN of Kahoka, Mo.; two sisters, Phyllis MARTIN of Toledo and Judith FILBY of Des Moines. His mother preceded him in death.
