Saturday, January 8, 1983Edna HOPPE dies in California
Edna L. HOPPE, 80, died Friday morning at Providence Hospital in Oakland, Calif., following a short illness.
The body is being shipped to Fairfield for last rites and burial. Services are pending at the Behner Funeral Home.
Enda (sic) L. HOPPE was born May 20, 1902, in Rapid City. She was the daughter of Frederick and Mary Louise LIPMAN HOPPE.
She was a retired employee of the Pacific Telephone Company and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She made her home in Oakland.
Surviving are two nieces, Virginia VAN DeVOORDE, Fairfield, and Betty HANSEN, Peoria, Arizona.
