Litusha COIL taken in death

Litusha (sic - Letitia) Olive COIL, 73, resident of Parkview Care Center, died at 2 a.m. today at the center.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Litusha Olive COIL was born Oct. 28, 1909, in Fairfield. She was the daughter of Clarence and Ora May NELSON CLINE. She married James O. COIL Jan. 28, 1932 at the First Christian Church in Ottumwa.

Mrs. COIL spent most of her life in the Fairfield Community. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a member of the Womens Christian Temperance Union. She served as secretary-treasurer for the union for some time.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Marsalan, Ankeny, and Leland, Vallejo, Calif., and three grandchildren.

Other survivors include three brothers, Oren CLINE, Texas; Forrest CLINE, Washington; and Ivan CLINE, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by a sister.
