"Nicholas Sanchez died at his home in Omaha, Neb. July 22 1939. Born Oct 11 1867 son of Peter and Sarah Franklin Sanchez, one of a family of 12 children, one only, a sister, Mrs. Lillie Wentworth of Lake Alma, Canada, surviving. Married Sadie Herman in 1890; she died 1895; 3 children: Herman who died in 1915; Mrs. Blanche Bonnett and Mrs. Alma Wiggins of Farson survive. In 1908 he married Mrs. Daisy McDowell of Burlington who survives. There is also a stepson, James T. McDowell of Los Angeles, Calif., and 13 grandchildren. Has lived in Omaha the past 31 years; member Christian Church while living in Packwood. Burial at Blue Point. Fremont Funeral Home."
