"The funeral of Mrs. Amanda Reynolds who died Monday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Ed Bond, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Woolson church, and interment made in Blue Point cemetery."

Feb. 2, 1910, 2-1."Mrs. Amanda Powers Reynolds was born at Schenectady, New York, Sept 2 1827; departed this life Jan 31 1910 at Fairfield, Iowa, aged 82-4-29. She moved to Sugar Grove, Ill., with her parents when quite young, where she was married to James M. Reynolds Oct 11 1847. To this union 11 children, six preceded their mother to the better land. Her husband was called to rest June 30 1900. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints for a number of years until after her marriage, when she became a member of the Baptist Church at Howard Grove, Iowa. She remained a member of the Baptist Church for a number of years, afterwards becoming a member of the Friends church at Mt. Zion, to which she has since been a faithful member. The children left to mourn the loss of their mother are: J. A. Reynold of Wichita, Kan.; J. F. Reynold of Tenine, Wash.; Mrs. Jennie Webber of Des Moines; Mrs. Emma Rambo of Richland, Iowa; and Mrs. Mary Bond of Fairfield, Iowa. Funeral at the Woolson church Wed., Feb. 2 at 2 o'clock, and the remains interred in the Blue Point cemetery."
