Mrs. Harriet MONTGOMERY died in this city on the 26th ult., an old resident of Jefferson County; her maiden name was Harriet RICHMOND; she was born Harrisville, Penn.; m. there in 1842 to William MONTGOMERY; came to Iowa, settled at Salina; William died in 1857. Five children -- Isaac R., d. in this city a few years ago (sic - in 1880); John, now lives Manhattan, Kansas; daughters, Mrs. Jane BOSWORTH, Mrs. Mary SHRINER and Mrs. Etta CLARKE all reside in this city. Mrs. MONTGOMERY was in the 67th year of her age. Bur. Evergreen.
