Diane B. KEENE, 66, formerly of Calu Apartments in Fairfield, died at 6 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren Hospice in Keosauqua.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Diane B. KEENE, 66, of Keosauqua, died at 6 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren Hospice in Keosauqua.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairfield Friends Church, with the Rev. Len Maselli officiating. A graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Glen Carbon Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Ill.
Family visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Memorials to Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren may be left at the church or may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 14, Birmingham 52535.
Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
Mrs. KEENE was born Aug. 3, 1944, in Roanoke, Va., the daughter of William and Marjorie CRAFT BURRAGE. She married Robert B. KEENE Jr. Aug. 24, 1963, in Liberty, N.C. He died Aug. 12, 2003.
Mrs. KEENE grew up in Liberty, N.C. After marrying, she and her husband moved to Williamsburg, Va., where they owned and operated The Capitol Motel for 32 years. In retirement, they lived in Granite City, Ill. Mrs. KEENE moved to Fairfield in 2008 and to the Good Samaritan Society in February 2011.
Mrs. KEENE had been a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Junior Women's Club, Soroptomist Club, Women's Chorus and Berkley Garden Club, all in Williamsburg, Va. She belonged to Our Lord's Lutheran Church in Maryville, Ill.
Survivors include one daughter, Emily CLARK and husband C. Douglas; three grandchildren; and one brother, Stephen BURRAGE of Virginia.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Elizabeth KEENE; and one brother, Nelson BURRAGE.
