Lorenzo 'Larry' FLETCHER

Lorenzo "Larry" FLETCHER, 80, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

No service is planned, and burial of cremains will be at a later date in Maine.

Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials may be sent to 408 North D St., Apt. 2H, Fairfield 52556.

Mr. FLETCHER was born May 25, 1930, in Englewood, N.J., the son of William and Adaline HILLS FLETCHER. He married Pauline GRINDLE. She died. He later married Myrna JONES May 25, 2000.

Mr. FLETCHER was a postal carrier for most of his life. He served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; four stepchildren: Alice SIMONS and husband Fred of North Sioux City, S.D., Roy LOWE Jr. of Wayland, Paula YOUNG-FISHER and husband Tony of Fairfield and Karlene KELEHER and husband Johnny of Sioux City; seven stepgrandchildren; and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.

In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
