EDWARD BONNIFIELD, 22, IS DEAD AT OTTUMWA.

Ottumwa, Jan. 11 -- Edward BONNIFIELD, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. BONNIFIELD of Ottumwa, died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday, following an emergency operation for appendicitis at Ottumwa hospital. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Margaret and Mrs. Allen SHARP, and one brother, West, all of Ottumwa.

BONNIFIELD had attended Grinnell college and the University of Kentucky and had been engaged in newspaper work in Chicago and New York. His father is president of the First National Bank at Ottumwa. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
