Rites Sunday For Ida May TRACY

Death came Thursday afternoon to Ida May TRACY, longtime resident of Jefferson county.

She passed away at 3 p.m. at the Crawford nursing home where she had been a patient the past six months. Although she has been in poor health for some time, death by a heart attack was sudden.

Last rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. L. L. Weis in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Ida May TRACY, 80, was born Oct. 19, 1873, in Burlington, the daughter of the late John and May MORROW CLARK. She was reared and educated in Abingdon and spent her entire life in Jefferson county except for five years.

She was united in marriage on Sept. 18, 1895, to George W. TRACY who preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1945. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Winifred, who died May 1, 1915.

A member of the Methodist church, Mrs. TRACY is survived by the followind (sic) children: Mildred TRACY, Fairfield; Orville M. TRACY, Fairfield, and W. Doyle TRACY, Moline. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
