Served in state legislature six years; funeral Tuesday
Hugh Craig PATTISON, 75, life-long resident of Jefferson county and prominent in political circles, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital at 2:20 p.m. Sunday. He had been seriously ill for the past two weeks.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian church. The body will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the services. Burial will be in the Cedar Township (sic – Pattison) cemetery. The body was taken to the Weston Behner funeral home yesterday.
Rev. J. I. Dool will have charge of the services.
Mr. PATTISON was born March 7, 1868. He was united in marriage to Eliza STOUT on March 17, 1896, who preceded him in death in 1924. He was the son of the late Robert and Rose PATTISON.
