Page 5, Column 3DEATH TAKES LOGAN OGDEN
Logan H. OGDEN, 52, well known Jefferson county farmer, passed away at 5:15 this morning at his home northeast of the city. He had been in failing health for six months and bedfast for the past eight weeks.
Surviving are his wife, the former Edith RODGERS; six children, Sgt. Willard L. OGDEN, Santa Rosa, Cal., Lyndon, Robert, Lelah, John and Edythe Joyce, all at home; his father, Frank OGDEN, Fairfield, and four sisters, Mrs. Frank McCLAIN and Mrs. Will MAASDAM, both of this city, Mrs. Fern D. RICKER, Chicago, and Mrs. Myron OSBORN, Sioux Falls, S.D. He was preceded in death by his mother who passed away in August 1933, and by a brother, Loren, who died fifteen years ago.
Mr. OGDEN was born September 20, 1892 in Miniera, Ill., and came to Jefferson county with his parents 43 years ago. He was united in marriage to Miss Edith RODGERS on April 4, 1919.
The body was taken to the Hoskins funeral home pending completion of arrangements for the services.

Note: Edith remarried to Earl AUGUST and died in 1992. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery with Logan, in Lot 2nd.015.
