Death came suddenly early this morning to Mrs. Clarence McCLELLAN, well known Fairfield resident who passed away at her home west of Fairfield from a heart attack.
She suffered an attack Sunday evening and another about 5 a.m. today which proved fatal. Her death came at 5:25 a.m.
Last rites will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. L. L. Weis in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
Freda Fay McCLELLAN, 49, was born July 19, 1901, at Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of the late James L. and Mary E. TYGRET. She came to Fairfield when about seven years old and had made her home in this community for the past 42 years.
She was united in marriage to Clarence J. McCLELLAN, who survives. The wedding took place at Ottumwa. Mrs. McCLELLAN was a member of the Methodist church and the Veterans Auxiliary.
Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Louis, Kansas City; Loren, Fairfield; Leonard and Loy at home.
She is also survived by four brothers: Carl and Roy TYGRET, Fairfield; Elmer TYGRET, Terre Haute, Indiana; and Leo TYGRET, Moline, Illinois.
