Mrs. William E. JAQUES, 78, died early Sunday at her home at 309 E. Lowe street She had been seriously ill for the past week.
Last rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. S. P. Williamson. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. JAQUES had been a resident of Fairfield for 37 years. She was born Sept. 16, 1877 at Abingdon, the daughter of Hiram and Ann RAMEY HUFFMAN. She was married to William E. JAQUES July 3, 1898 at Floris.
Mrs. JAQUES was a member of the Christian church at Floris and the Degree of Honor at Eldon.
She is survived by her husband and the following children: Charles JAQUES and Mrs. Harold B. THOMA, both of Fairfield; and Mrs. Oren HARRELL, Altoona.
Five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Frank RIZOR, Fairfield; Mrs. Oren THOMPSON, Floris; Mrs. Clyde McCLURE, Eldon; Mrs. Lil LEPPER, Pasadena, Calif.; John and Bert HUFFMAN, Batavia; and William HUFFMAN, Floris.
One sister and one brother preceded her in death.
