Mrs. Eva L. DROZ, 68, pased (sic) away this noon at 12:15 p.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Virgil H. WINTER, 306 E. Jefferson St. where she had been taken from her home at 205½ N. Court St. when she became ill about eight months ago. She had been seriously ill the past week.
The body has been taken to the Behner Funeral Home to await funeral arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Virgil WINTER of this city, and Mrs. William LOONEY, Aberdeen, S. D.; two grandchildren, Marcia Kay LOONEY and Anna Pearl WINTER; three sisters, Mesdames Fred METZLER of Baker, Ore., A. M. GOBLE, La Grande, Ore.; and Larry LARSEN, San Francisco, Calif. Her husband, Percy DROZ, who she married February 15, 1899, preceded her in death in 1918. One son died in infancy. Five brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Mrs. DROZ was born in Jefferson county, February 8, 1877, and lived in and near Fairfield her entire life. She was a member of the Methodist church, Wesleyan Bible class, Rekekah (sic – Rebekah) Lodge No. 96 and Women’s Relief Corps.

The Naomi club luncheon scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed so that members may attend the funeral services of Mrs. Eva DROZ being held that afternoon from the Behner Funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva DROZ, 68, lifetime resident of this county, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 o'clock from the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
Rev. U. S. Smith and Rev. A. P. Keast will officiate. Burial is in the Evergreen cemetery.
