Last rites for Cora K. DAVIS, 79, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Marion Shupe. Burial will be in Bethesda cemetery.

Miss DAVIS, a lifelong resident of the Beckwith community east of Fairfield, died Thursday at 12:53 p.m. at the Jefferson County hospital. She had been in failing health for five years .

Miss DAVIS was born in Jefferson county Nov. 28, 1876, the daughter of James R. and Mary Elizabeth CANNON DAVIS. She had been a member of the Bethesda Methodist church since childhood. She had also been a member of the county 4-H girls committee for 25 years.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Frank McCORMICK, Mt. Pleasant; and one brother, Elmer C. DAVIS, Beckwith.
